Community outreach

Our LEGO Club meet on the first Thursday of each month at our Richmond Clinic! It's a great opportunity for kiddos to practice collaboration and build fine motor skills while having fun!

We're accepting LEGO donations at all clinic locations to make this monthly gathering bigger and better than ever! If you've got any extra LEGO sets or bricks lying around, we'd be happy to add them to our collection so we can build cool stuff togther! Bring your donations to any HTP clinic during business hours, and thank you so much for your support! 

In recognition of Dyslexia Awareness Month, our Learning Center  hosted a book drive to support our “Take a Book, Leave a Book” little libraries in our clinic waiting rooms throughout October.

Our goal was to collect 500 new or gently used books for children ages 0–10 — and thanks to the incredible generosity of our families and community partners, we surpassed that goal by a remarkable margin, with over 2,000 books donated!

This initiative wasn’t just about filling shelves—it was about promoting literacy, raising awareness about dyslexia, and celebrating the importance of inclusive learning resources for every child.

Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make this drive such a huge success!

The Joy Project exists to provide support among employees, families and the local community. At Hogg Therapy Pediatrics, we are dedicated to providing the confidence our community needs to succeed.

Success looks different based on each situation. From filling up a tank of gas for a single mom to providing therapy equipment for a kiddo, covering a light bill for a family to purchasing educational supplies for a student, these are just a few examples of how The Joy Project seeks to support the community. 

The mission of The Joy Project is to meet needs in a tangible way! 

If you or someone you know could benefit from The Joy Project, be sure to share with an HTP employee/therapist! If the need meets The Joy Project criteria, the HTP employee will complete an application on your behalf. Applications are reviewed and responded to within 30 days once submitted to HR.

Hogg Hearts Our Community Events are hosted by Hogg Therapy Pediatrics at our various clinic locations, aimed at strengthening our connection with the local community. Through these events, we provide opportunities for families, individuals, and local organizations to come together for fun, education, and support.

Operation St. Nic is a community outreach initiative organized by Hogg Therapy Pediatrics, designed to bring holiday joy to local families. 

During the holiday season, employees have the opportunity to participate by donating gifts to these families. Families are selected through an internal nomination process by our dedicated therapists, who identify those who would benefit from this special gesture.

This initiative promotes a spirit of giving and unity within the Hogg Therapy Pediatrics team, allowing employees to make a positive impact on the lives of families and spread holiday cheer throughout the season.
