Internships

Want to be a part of our mission of EMpowering Children to conquer their world?

Program Overview

The Hogg Therapy Pediatrics Internship Program provides undergraduate and graduate students with hands-on exposure to pediatric therapy in an outpatient setting.

Through mentorship from experienced therapists, interns gain insight into therapy services, clinic operations, interdisciplinary collaboration, and family-centered care while observing sessions and supporting clinic activities.

This unpaid internship is designed for students pursuing careers in speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, or physical therapy and typically ranges from 150–200 hours based on student availability and program requirements.

Program Structure

Duration: 150-200 hours over a set period (e.g., 6-8 weeks).

Work Schedule: Interns will work a set number of hours per week based on their availability, ideally ranging from 15-40 hours total. Flexibility with days and times should be allowed to accommodate students’ schedules.

Interns will gain valuable hands-on experience in pediatric therapy, develop professional skills, and receive constructive feedback. The internship may also serve as a stepping stone for future employment opportunities within the clinic or other therapy practices.
